Dutch Pleat

The Dutch Pleat (also known as the Double Pleat) is a smart and simple heading. It is made with two pleats pinched and secured together. More relaxed than the French Pleat, this style looks stunning for long curtains and retains elegance while achieving a modern twist on the classic style. Dutch Pleat drapes suit all window types and can be installed on rods or tracks.

French Pleat

The French Pleat (also known as the Triple Pleat) is a classic and timeless heading. It is made with three pleats pinched and secured together. This formal look is suited to the more formal rooms (master bedrooms, dining rooms etc.) and works best with long, floor length drapes. French Pleat drapes should be made with light or medium weight fabric. They work best in a room with furniture that is also exact and tailored in appearance.

Inverted Pleat

The Inverted Pleat is a sleek and contemporary heading. It is made with a reverse single pleat to create a flat look. This is a very modern heading and is excellent for showing off large patterned fabrics. Inverted Pleats best suit wider windows need a generous amount of stacking space on either side of the window.

Goblet Pleat

The Goblet Pleat is a very elegant and impressive heading. They are ideal for grand or country style rooms. Goblet Pleat drapes look luxurious made to the floor with heavy fabrics, especially if matched with thick rope tiebacks. If you are using a medium weight fabric, you can stuff the “goblets” with tissue paper or cotton wool to help them keep their shape.
